 My Books and Other Writings

My current works are The High Water Mark, The Last Man Standing, and Tullahoma Mud (a historical fiction NaNoWriMo project). I have another project The Rhythm of the Stone avalable online for free. All of the titles you see are working titles and are subject to change probably at the whim of an editor or publisher. I do not have cover since I am artistically challenged in terms of the visual arts. You will be able to learn more about these books on my blog page on Bird's Blog of Babel.

I have another page on Bird’s Blog of Babel that has reviews of the books I am currently reading. Since I mostly write historical fiction they will be reference in nature. If you wish me review one of your books, contact me.

Make sure you check that out you might find your book there!

Tullahoma Mud

Historical Fiction

A story of early Colonial America. It captures the spirit of pioneers as they struggle to tame a wild frontier. Follow Buck Mankett as he goes from a William and Mary college student to a Long Hunter in far western Virginia to a frontiersman in what would become eastern Tennessee. He helps form the Watauga Association that became the failed state of Franklin and ultimately Tennessee. Lots of action during this historically significant period of the colonies and then the young country of America.
